CEC Nutrition Services
CEC Nutrition Update: Unfortunately at this time CEC food service does not have the staff and resources to bring hot lunch to your location. We are working hard to staff our commercial kitchen in Aurora. We will send out an update via text/email when lunch service will begin.
The waiver for free lunches for children 0-18 is in effect until December 31st 2020. If your student is in need of breakfast and lunch, Douglas County School District has free meals for children 0-18, go to: https://www.dcsdnutritionservices.org/ to find out locations and times.
CEC Nutrition Services is committed to creating delicious scratch-made meals with a farm to school program model. Our breakfast and lunches are made with fresh whole food ingredients that will energize your students so they can maximize their educational goals. We want every student that walks into the cafe to know they are a part of a community that values them.
Scratch food can change the world.

Free/Reduced Lunch Important COVID-19 Update
The Colorado Department of Human Services has teamed up with USDA to issue Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) benefits to school-aged children who would have received free or reduced-price meals during the time that schools have been closed.
Each household with a child receiving free or reduced-price meals is eligible for an amount of $5.70 per child, per school day on a Colorado EBT card that will support the family in creating healthy, wholesome meal options for kids who are home during the school day.
For Colorado families that currently receive SNAP benefits and whose children attend a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program, no action will be needed from the family and benefits will automatically be issued (more details to come when the date these funds will be available). Families that do not participate in the SNAP program, and whose children attend school that participates in the National School Lunch Program will need to fill out the free and reduced application to begin the process.
